The Governors of our friendly, inclusive primary school are seeking to appoint an inspirational and highly motivated Playworker to join our dedicated team. This is a particularly exciting time to become part of Arden Primary School, as we welcome a new, ambitious Headteacher and continue our drive to make Arden a flagship school within the local area.

We are looking for a Playworker who will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care and play experiences for children aged 4 to 11 in our After School Club. You will work closely as a team to support each child’s individual needs in a safe, secure, and welcoming environment. The Playworker will be someone who is caring, energetic, and confident working with children. The ideal candidate will be a team player who can also work independently and who understands the needs of children and families.

School Administration Officer
Job Title: School Administrative Officer
Hours: 37 per week (Mon-Fri, 8am-4pm)
Salary: £22,583.28 - £24,070.65 (Scale 4 pro rata)
Contract: Term Time, Full Time, Permanent
Start Date: ASAP after appointment
The Governors wish to appoint a highly pro-active, enthusiastic and experienced Administrative Officer to join our inclusive and supportive team at this expanding primary school, which Ofsted once again judged to be a Good school in July 2024.
The successful candidate will work closely alongside our existing team to provide efficient and effective financial administrative, and clerical support to the headteacher, staff, pupils, and wider school community. This is an opportunity to play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of our school office while supporting the delivery of high-quality education of our pupils.
The successful candidate will have:
Strong organisational and administrative skills with attention to detail.
Experience in financial systems, budget monitoring, and record-keeping.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with staff, pupils, parents, and visitors.
IT proficiency, including word processing, spreadsheets, and school management systems (SIMS experience desirable)
A proactive, flexible, and team-oriented approach.
